Jolly Roger Gary Jones (2005)

How many hopes betrayed, much to the disappointment As you prepare hard watching this "Jolly Roger". Gary Jones years ago was a promising name in special effects, its most significant contribution was to "Army of Darkness" by Sam Raimi, but then got lost in the wishful thinking of a career as a director who satisfies is its author's ego that a taste for the gory makeup. Jones saw the awful "Spiders" and "Crocodille 2", but here we have reached the bottom of the bottom of the fund. Difficult to do worse, hard to beat with only one film the various Decoteau, Uwe Boll or Albert Pyun and tragic role in the Elizabethan "worst director alive". Yes, because the buttocks of young males in the sun or the delusions of our dear David frocetton Bullet time to the director of "Postal" is nothing compared to this unfortunate story of pirates and sold trees. Produces the Asylum house specializing in bad ripoff of famous films, but also a masterpiece as "King of the Ants" by Stuart Gordon, then at least glimmer of hope that this time, "Jolly Roger" could be a decent horror there could be. To confirm the thesis also beautiful scenes of decapitations and bloody deaths appeared to "Fangoria" unfortunate fans who did enjoy the kind like me. But unfortunately the special effects are the only thing salvageable in a film shot poorly, worse written and played by actors so that it looks askance Valeria Golino Ava Gardner. The history of impunity robs "Fog" by Carpenter, but "Pirates of the Caribbean" by Verbinsky, but without either the palpable tension of the first nor the second of shameless sympathy. "Jolly Roger" is a slasher full pedestrian full of technical errors that could hide Masonic absolute hatred towards the cinema. What about a security camera that transmits images mounted cinematically? Or a girl beaten and left lifeless on a second before it magically appears in front of our pirate untouched as if nothing had happened? Or a police station which is actually an apartment in a motel? Or an image before a treasure chest full of human heads and the other empty plastic? These things are a bit 'to the film only Ed Wood Wood were at least entertaining in their cialtroneria. This "Jolly Roger" is rather boring until the climax, as a sloppy soap operas broadcast on "Never say TV", shot televised without a minimum of flash. Do not be fooled by two beautiful boobs bobbing and some 'fairly good splatter "Jolly Roger" is the amount by more than two pounds in a school play. Only masochists.
